The Pathways to Music Vocal Academy

Our Vocal Academy is overseen by renowned professional soprano and singing teacher Annie Lower. We foster the holistic development of technical skills alongside a genuine connection to music. The development of the singing voice is a process that requires careful nurturing under the tutelage of an expert singer and teacher.

Our outstanding teachers ensure development of the technical, physiological and artistic aspects of vocal performance, offering an enriching experience that will stay with students for a lifetime. The Pathways to Music Vocal Academy caters for all capabilities and experience levels, and offers singing tuition for primary and secondary school students and adults.

Vocal Academy Ensembles

The art of performance develops best through learning from experienced, supportive and knowledgeable practitioners, and our expert-led Vocal Ensembles offer opportunities to develop all aspects of stage performance.

Our Musical Theatre Ensemble Class offers the exciting opportunity for singers to develop essential stagecraft skills while participating in Music Theatre excerpts. This class combines elements of vocal technique, repertoire, drama and movement and is perfect for singers looking to enhance their performance skills. This ensemble is ideal for primary and secondary school students who wish to develop their singing voice in a program that builds confidence and skill.

Our Opera Ensemble class allows singers to prepare operatic roles and participate in song and movement classes, ensemble coaching, scene preparation, acting and aria staging, and will culminate in public performances of chosen excerpts. This ensemble is particularly suited to tertiary students and early career performers.

In all of our Vocal Ensembles, participants will explore repertoire appropriate to their developmental abilities. Students are also strongly encouraged to undertake Musicianship Classes.
